Instead of direct contact between trolley posts and the scupper tube, Scupper hole protection introduces a flexible TPU interface that softens the interaction and spreads load more gradually through the structure. This reduces harsh contact points and helps limit internal stress during movement.

The difference is most noticeable when transporting a loaded kayak over uneven surfaces—where sudden impacts and vibration typically concentrate force inside the hull. By moderating this transfer, it improves stability and reduces mechanical strain at a critical point.

Designed around the geometry of Hobie 1 inch (25mm) scupper systems, it integrates cleanly with existing trolleys and maintains correct alignment without modification. Suits the hobie trax, standard and heavy duty cart.
